merchandise booth (regains)
So what is this?
The Concession Stand located in the eastern hallway also sells show merchandise! This is a place where characters can obtain items, both strange and familiar! ICly, characters will wake up to find coins deposited on their vanity from time to time. These can be traded here for a randomly selected item.
What are these coins?
ICly, they’re just unmarked coins of no recognizable origin. OOCly, coins are awarded for every five comments from your character in a thread. Multiple increments in one thread for multiple coins ARE allowed up to five, or 25 comments!
Any threads between player characters that do not take place during investigations, trials and motive announcements are eligible for a coin. Threads with mod NPCs such as the showrunner are eligible for coins as well, but the one catch to this is that private conversations and letters do not count – the thread must take place in public
Why should I buy your weird merch?
What, besides cool new stuff? Well, okay.
This is where you have the chance to get those five regains you put down in your app. It's all up to the RNG, of course, and you may even end up getting someone else's belongings instead. You’ve got a 10% chance of getting a regain, yours or someone else’s, with every coin submitted, so keep those threads a-comin’!
Renewable items?
One out of your five items can be renewable – that is, they have the potential to come out of the booth more than one time. They can be consumable things like food, candy, liquor or cigarettes; they can also be things like yarn, socks, whatever you like!
Do coins expire? Do my coins have to be from this week?
Eligible threads don't expire! For example, you can still submit week 1 and intro log threads after week 1 ends.
My threadmate turned in our thread already. Do I have to turn it in too to get a coin?
Yep!
The character I was threading with died. Can I still get paid for interacting with them?
WHY NOT. Dead characters can no longer redeem coins, but you living do whatever you want.
I have a thread with an NPC. Can I submit that too?
Yes! As long as it's in a public post (ex. a weekly log or afterparty) those are acceptable.
What’s this I hear about song rewards?
Excellent question! Threads which include a song can be redeemed for one additional free coin! Only song participants get this bonus, so if your character didn’t sing, the thread will be worth the normal amount of coins. On the other hand, all song participants get a bonus, so a duet will result in extra coins for both performers!
When you have a thread long enough to be redeemed, comment below with a link to the thread. Please include the number of comments and, if possible, number of total coins from your character in each thread you submit. The mods will respond with sweet loot accordingly.

2. A Suitcase: Finally, a way to succeed in business! But do you want to try? Includes a framed photograph of a dark-haired young man in a suit.
3. Burn Book Pages: A number of photocopied pages of som..e kind of… insult scrapbook? Wow, some of these are really harsh! Sure hope the people they’re about haven’t seen them- wait, is that Janis? [CW: Slurs if you want to investigate the pages.]
4. Oklahoma Snowglobe: A souvenier snowglobe from the great state of Oklahoma. When you shake it, a tiny voice inside goes "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO - "
5. White Opera Gloves: A pair of long satin gloves that are perfect for a night out at the opera! This pair is a classic white - try not to stain them.
6. Enchanted Rose: A rose in a glass container that glows with a faint pink light. It looks magical, but on closer inspection, it's actually battery-powered.
7. Roses: A bouquet of red roses for a job well-done.
8. Grizabella the Glamour Cat: A bedraggled and worn gray cat plushie. The tag around her neck reads "Grizabella".
9. Striped Scarf: A long striped scarf. Wearing it makes you look very Bohemian.
10. Red Cape: The cape as red as blood. It's very warm.
11. Star Button: A pin that looks like it’s meant to be attached to something on a jacket. It’s made of metal and embossed with a star shape.
12. Milky White: The cow as white as milk - now in adorable plush doll form! There's a tiny bell hanging around her neck.
13. Cafe Con Leche: A hot cup of coffee, already lightened and sweetened with condensed milk.
14. Corn: A raw ear of corn. Shuck it!
15. Yellow Wig: The hair as yellow as corn. It's a blonde wig of enormous length. How could anyone possibly have hair this long?
16. Rope: A coiled length of rope. It's just about long enough to reach from the floor to the ceiling.
17. Gershwin Groundhogs Mascot Suit: A mascot suit for those of you who have always wondered what it's like to predict the weather. It's old, a bit musty and threadbare in a few places but comes with a full body suit and mascot head. One size fits all.
18. The Ultimate Treasure: A pair of tickets, apparently to a show called Hamilton. The vending machine slides them over with an odd air of reverence.
19. Dry Ice: A lump of vaguely smoking ice in a plastic bag. Just add water and you get some very convincing fog! I wouldn't recommend putting it in your cocktail though unless you like the taste of burning. Handle with gloves.
20. Rainbow Fantasy Jacket: A coat of many colors! It is red and yellow and green and brown and blue...
21. Bobby Pins: There are so many yet not enough and they are Everywhere.
22. Jacket: A jacket heavily modified with paint and patches in a seemingly random but very thorough sort of way. Perfect for an artistic sort of girl!
23. Black Hat: A pointed black hat. It's really sharp - and you know what they say. Black is this year's pink!
24. A Sunday Afternoon: A painting of a peaceful Sunday afternoon in the park. The brushwork on the peoples' hats is particularly impressive.
25. Ukulele: A small ukulele with flowers printed on the body. It has a pretty good sound, if you've got an ear for that!
