Room Assignments | The Grounds | First Floor | Second Floor | Third Floor | Fourth Floor

The Main Lobby
The Opera House is a fine establishment, all dark wood and golden accents. It all seems pretty old - there's dust and cobwebs on everything. The lobby has a plush red carpet and a smattering of cream chairs and sofas in little groups for patrons to rest on. There’s a few small crystal chandeliers on the ceiling to provide lighting. They look quite stable.
The Merchandise Booth sits off to one side. Unlike most, it’s always closed up; the metal screen is pulled down and locked in place. But there’s a small box with a coin slot sitting on the counter. If you put a coin in, a smaller door will open and your merchandise will be shoved out. There doesn’t seem to be any way to pick what you get...you’ll just have to try your luck.
The Box Office is a smaller room in the southeast corner. Its large front windows, once meant for purchasing tickets, are now shuttered tight, but there's still a slot for the exchange of money and tickets. If you slip a letter in there, you may just find a reply later on...
Two small doors at either end of the northern wall blend neatly into the wooden walls. They lead back to the dressing rooms, and the east and west doors go to the east and west wings, respectively. The front doors would presumably lead out of the opera house, but they’re locked up tight; no amount of effort is going to open them yet. There’s also the large double-doors in the very center of the northern wall. Gilded and ornately fashioned, they’re quite the sight - but for now, they are locked.

West Wing
Dining Hall
The dining hall is meant to host large groups like you, with a long mahogany table that could easily seat twice your number. The ceiling is high and lined with more small crystal chandeliers. A few small cabinets tucked away in a corner contain a few long white tablecloths and different sets of cloth napkins in white or red. There’s also a few small wheeled carts, probably meant for transporting food and dishes back and forth between here and the kitchen.
Kitchen
The appliances here are state-of-the-art, almost in defiance of the antiquated decor surrounding them. The dishware and cooking implements are pretty fancy-looking too; that silverware may legitimately be silver. The knives in the butcher block look to be quite fine steel as well. The types of mugs in the cabinets, however, leave something to be desired aesthetically.
The food here is decent, but mostly restricted to the necessities. You aren't going to run out, at least.
The kitchen is off-limits at night.
Dance Studio
It's a classical dance studio! The walls are lined with mirrors, and there's bars along them for practicing your pointe. There's a few mats piled in one corner as well, in case you felt like doing yoga or something instead.
Music Room
Anything you might expect to find in the average orchestra pit is here: the usual assortment of brass, woodwinds and strings, an upright piano off to the side, and even a harp and a few drums of varying sizes. Sadly, they seem like they've been sitting in here for a while without any maintenance. It's all terribly out of tune.
In a closet, you can find a few electric guitars, basses, and amps. They look brand-new!
Storage Closet
This room is full of shelves, which are packed with boxes of assorted supplies. We've got your basic items like duct tape, rope, candles and matches, extra blankets, small toolkits, cleaning supplies, WD-40, batteries...essentially, anything you'd need in a disaster situation and then some.
Bathrooms
Surprisingly, there’s not much of a line outside the ladies’ room!

East Wing
Ballroom
This room is fancy as hell! Most of it is a shiny dance floor, of course, with a grand staircase in the middle leading up to a balcony. From the balcony, you can see out through a series of high arched windows. There isn't much to look at, though - no matter what time of day you come, it always seems to be night out there. There's no other lights out there either, and the grand chandelier above always lights this room brightly, so you just can't make out much of what might be outside.
There's a grand piano off to one side in the lower level, if you want to make music.
Laundry Room
Aside from the kitchen, this seems to be the only room with any signs of modern technology. Washing machines and dryers line the room, for all your costume-washing needs! There’s also a few very large sinks, in case you prefer to handwash. Luckily, the floor is plain tile, so you don’t need to worry too much about making a mess; this is possibly the only room that looks more utilitarian than lavish.
Costume Shop
This room contains everything you could possibly need to play dress-up. The wardrobes lining the walls contain old costumes of every type imaginable; you’re sure to find something in your size. There’s also some fabric and one or two sewing machines, if you want to put yourself to work while you’re here. Those mannequins standing around ought to be useful for helping you make clothes. Don’t worry, they’re probably not alive!

The Grounds
Ah, the great outdoors! As you push open the front doors, you’re greeted by the brisk night air, and a sky speckled with a few stars high above.
Unfortunately, right in front of you, there is another set of gates. They’re large, wrought-iron, and locked. The wall they’re set in, an ornate and tall thing of stone and iron, wraps around the entire grounds. Beyond the gate, it’s too dark to see much. A place like this should be in a city, shouldn’t it? Paris, even? But that’s certainly no City of Lights out there.
There’s plants, though! Some nice trees and flowers line the walkway here, which leads to one large gate to the east and a smaller one to the west.

Cemetery
This is an old-fashioned cemetery, full of weeping angel statues and large above-ground crypts. Most of the grave markers, especially in the front, are too weathered to read, but those big crypts standing off by themselves in the back? They’re made of clean, dark stone, and the names Jonny D’Ville, Sigyn, King Richard,, Red, Claudine Saijo, Spinel, Riley Williams, Angus McFife XIII, Shilo Wallace and Jeremy Heere are engraved on riveted metal plates, clear as if they were carved there yesterday.
In the back corners, two large old mausoleums loom. Outside the small wrought-iron fence marking the back boundary of the cemetery you can see an old groundskeeper's shed. The back gate does not have a lock.
Groundskeeper's Shed
There’s nobody in here and no clear signs that anyone recently was, but it seems like this shed is meant for use by some kind of groundskeeping staff. There’s a work table, a few chairs, and a variety of tools available for use. Basic items like hammers, nails, and saws are available, though there isn’t a lot of wood to work with. You’ll also find a lot of shovels, and some chisels and engraving equipment...well, it is a cemetery.
Garden
A stone path winds its way through the garden, allowing you to walk through all the beautiful plants growing here. There’s lots of flowers and shrubs, a central fountain, and one exceptionally tall tree in the far corner. It’s an oak - all of the plants have a little plaque somewhere nearby, indicating their common and scientific names for any interested patrons.
In one fenced-off area, you’ll find a lot of poisonous plants, carefully labeled just like all the other flowers, growing freely. That’s probably fine.
Field
Most of the area behind the opera house is taken up by an open grassy field. There isn’t a whole lot for you to do here, truthfully; just an old water pump and a few big troughs. Maybe that barn in the back has something of interest?
Barn
An old wooden barn. It’s multilevel! On the upper level, reachable by ladder, you’ll find bales of hay piled up nearly to the rafters. On the lower level, there are several stalls for animals, one of which is occupied by a white horse.
Congratulations! You have obtained one horf. Do not bring harm to the horse; he is an innocent party in all of this.
The stairwell leads up to the second floor lobby. You'll find pretty much nothing there - no merchandise booth, no box office. Only locked doors that might lead into the upper boxes of the trial room, and a single vending machine that dispenses soda and snacks. Neato...? Just like downstairs, doors to the east and west lead to further rooms.

West Wing (2)
Movie Room
This appears to be a little personal home theater space. You’ve got plenty of cushy leather recliners and a big screen to play stuff on. In the back, there’s the projector and a small selection of movies. They’re all musicals - like Cats 2019, Moulin Rouge, and Les Miserables! Also, for some reason, Dracula 2000.
Library
As you’d expect, this room is mostly overtaken with bookshelves. Everything is neatly organized according to the Dewey decimal system, but not all genres are present; you’ll find it’s mostly non-fiction. Boring! But if you poke around, you can also locate some mystery novels!
Coffee Shop
It’s Phanbucks! This room seems a lot like a regular little coffee shop, if rather out-of-place in an old-fashioned opera house. There’s a few tables and chairs, and a counter with some snacks and pastries displayed. Behind there, you’ve got all the normal appliances associated with coffee-making, as well as cabinets full of coffee and tea and a mini-fridge with some milk and milk alternatives.
Chapel
Y’all need Jesus
Despite that, the chapel doesn’t seem to bear marks of any particular religion or denomination. It’s just your typical Random Opera Chapel, a small area with a couple pews and a display of candles to be lit for people. There is one large stained-glass window; it looks like an angel in white robes with sky-blue wings. An angel of music, perhaps???

East Wing (2)
Fitness Center
Here we have a state-of-the-art gym! There’s your typical weights and mats, and also a few treadmills and other weightlifting machines set up for your use! The walls are lined in mirrors, so you can...see how horrifying you look when you sweat or something? You’ve also got a couple of lockers in which to store your possessions, and a closet with some yoga balls and stuff.
Computer Room
You found the computer room!
There’s several desktops set up here, with basic programs such as Paint, Solitaire, and a word processor installed. They are not connected to the internet, although they all do register the presence of that wi-fi network you can’t get into. They are connected to both scanners and printers, though, for your various art needs!
In a cabinet here, you can also find a few other pieces of technology, like an old game console! It can run Apocalypse of the Damned, Jeremy, but the only other game it comes with is Sonic 2006. Should you play that, you might find that the cutscenes are a little different.
Roller Rink
Oh, neat! A roller-skate rink! There’s a small separate room near the front, where you can find skates in various sizes, lockers for your stuff, and a sound system to play tunes for the skaters. Outside that, there’s a popcorn machine and a soda machine!
But most of this room is given over to a large oval-shaped skating rink. It’s polished wood, with a railing encircling it for those who need the support. The whole area is done up in chrome, and seems to have some sort of train theme? Weird.

West Wing (3)
Recording Studio
Want to make it big while you're stuck in here? This is your chance! This recording studio comes with its own recording booth in the back, and all the sound equipment seems to be working just fine. The lights on the panels are all on, at least, and things definitely change if you press buttons or turn dials. But there's no instructions to be found anywhere in the room, so you're sort of on your own.
Arcade
If you thought the crappy knock-off console down in the tech room was good, this is a dream come true! This is a full-on retro arcade, with all sorts of old game cabinets from back in the day. They've all been set for home use, so you don't need any coins to make them work! For those who may not be into video games, there's also classics like skee-ball, air hockey, and that dumb little basketball game!
Bakery
This seems to be...a bakery? There's a counter in the front with an empty display case, some tables and chairs for the customers, and even a coffee machine behind the counter. Also behind the counter, there's a thick metal door that's cold to the touch. It's fastened securely shut, but not locked.
Cold Storage
This is where materials for the bakery are kept, apparently. There's a lot of frozen dough in bags, labeled with the kind of pastry it's meant for, and some milk and frozen fruits as well. With all this pre-prepped stuff, you can probably make a lot of nice desserts fairly easily! Dry ingredients are kept near the door, where the temperature is the least chilly. The walls, shelves, and everything are made out of shiny steel, and it feels a little eerie in here...

East Wing (3)
Saunas
The two sauna rooms appear to be intended for use by men and women, respectively, but like, we're not the cops here. Both are functionally identical: the first room is a small changing room, with lockers and benches. You can stow your belongings and put on some more appropriate attire; this room provides fluffy white towels and bathrobes, along with swimwear. The next room is the sauna proper, with a door that seals appropriately to keep all that good good steam in. Controls can be found next to this door, on the outside.
Pool
In keeping with the apparent theme of this wing, here's a swimming pool! It's fairly large, though not regulation-size, and it's got a couple of lanes set up for swimming laps if you so desire. The diving board is on the other side of the pool - try not to cannonball on top of somebody! If you don't feel like the full sauna experience, there's also a small hot tub in one corner of this room.

West Wing (4)
Art Studio
If you wanted to do projects a little too delicate for the workshop downstairs, this is your place! This room has its own supply of paint, as well as actual canvases and other arts and crafts materials. It doesn't look quite as scrupulously clean in here as the other rooms - the tables still have some stray glitter on them, as if it was just too difficult to get out. There's also some sculpting clay and a kiln, though be warned that a kiln is not exactly ideal for burning evidence.
Tech Studio
This room seems to be more for storage than anything - the walls are lined with sturdy metal shelves, hosting a wide array of technology that most of you will probably totally understand! The shelves are carefully organized, with lighting equipment to one side, sound to the other, and all sorts of special effects equipment together in one corner. There's a lot of fog machines here, as well as a few things that look they could shoot sparks or fireballs. Most of this stuff needs to be plugged into an outlet, but the battery-powered devices - mostly body mics, but also some of the smaller fog machines - are all fully charged and operational.
Infirmary
Well, this might have been useful to have several floors ago. The infirmary, along with several things up here, is surprisingly advanced and well-stocked. The main room contains a row of cots, and basic medical equipment stored in cabinets. We're talking basic bandages, over-the-counter medicines, and some fun stuff like stethoscopes.
The storage closet in the back appears to be where the real shit is kept. There's some heavy-duty drugs back here. The dosage instructions are all on the bottles, though, so that...should be fine, right? In addition, there's a small fridge with blood bags for transfusions, a couple of rolling IV carts, and even a portable defibrillator!

East Wing (4)
Ice Rink
Oh, so you want to complain about the roller rink, huh? You think that's the worst room that can happen? This one's got ice.
There's benches here to change into the freely-provided ice skates, but most of the room is given over to the ice rink. At least it has a railing for you to hold onto as well, so you're slightly less at risk of falling and smashing your face.
And watch out for those skates. We hear they're sharp.
Lodge
The cold of the ice rink reaches throughout most of the east wing, which may be why there's a separate area provided to cozy up and have a nice warm time! In here, you've got a gas fireplace and a lot of big soft chairs and sofas, covered in pillows and draped with blankets. You can also find more appropriate winter wear in a closet here, like sweaters and mittens, just in case you aren't able to cobble together a good skating outfit from the stuff downstairs. The walls are lined with what appear to be deer antlers - hope those aren't sharp too.
Refreshments
HOT HOT, HOT CHOCOLATE! No, seriously, there's a lot of hot chocolate here, as well as ovens and hot plates to prepare your own warm food and beverages. Given your track records, I'm sure that's going to be just fine.
