merchandise booth (regains)
So what is this?
The Concession Stand located in the eastern hallway also sells show merchandise! This is a place where characters can obtain items, both strange and familiar! ICly, characters will wake up to find coins deposited on their vanity from time to time. These can be traded here for a randomly selected item.
What are these coins?
ICly, they’re just unmarked coins of no recognizable origin. OOCly, coins are awarded for every five comments from your character in a thread. Multiple increments in one thread for multiple coins ARE allowed up to five, or 25 comments!
Any threads between player characters that do not take place during investigations, trials and motive announcements are eligible for a coin. Threads with mod NPCs such as the showrunner are eligible for coins as well, but the one catch to this is that private conversations and letters do not count – the thread must take place in public
Why should I buy your weird merch?
What, besides cool new stuff? Well, okay.
This is where you have the chance to get those five regains you put down in your app. It's all up to the RNG, of course, and you may even end up getting someone else's belongings instead. You’ve got a 10% chance of getting a regain, yours or someone else’s, with every coin submitted, so keep those threads a-comin’!
Renewable items?
One out of your five items can be renewable – that is, they have the potential to come out of the booth more than one time. They can be consumable things like food, candy, liquor or cigarettes; they can also be things like yarn, socks, whatever you like!
Do coins expire? Do my coins have to be from this week?
Eligible threads don't expire! For example, you can still submit week 1 and intro log threads after week 1 ends.
My threadmate turned in our thread already. Do I have to turn it in too to get a coin?
Yep!
The character I was threading with died. Can I still get paid for interacting with them?
WHY NOT. Dead characters can no longer redeem coins, but you living do whatever you want.
I have a thread with an NPC. Can I submit that too?
Yes! As long as it's in a public post (ex. a weekly log or afterparty) those are acceptable.
What’s this I hear about song rewards?
Excellent question! Threads which include a song can be redeemed for one additional free coin! Only song participants get this bonus, so if your character didn’t sing, the thread will be worth the normal amount of coins. On the other hand, all song participants get a bonus, so a duet will result in extra coins for both performers!
When you have a thread long enough to be redeemed, comment below with a link to the thread. Please include the number of comments and, if possible, number of total coins from your character in each thread you submit. The mods will respond with sweet loot accordingly.

2. Green Elixir: Have another drink, my dark-eyed beauty... A green liquid in a small bottle made of frosted green glass. Drinking it will reveal that it is 1) very tasty and 2) straight absinthe.
3. Black Coffee: Get your cup of roasted coffee, your morning cup of Joey~.
4. Mountain Dew: An empty bottle of Mountain Dew. It's okay, you're safe!...wait, are there a few drops left inside?
5. Roses: A bouquet of red roses for a job well-done.
6. The Lyin' King: A soft lion-skin rug. Take a load off, have a nap, watch out for wildebeests.
7. Bottled Water: Any good show sells concessions, and bottled water is a must! It doesn't say which mountain spring it was bottled from, though.
8. Dry Ice: A lump of vaguely smoking ice in a plastic bag. Just add water and you get some very convincing fog! I wouldn't recommend putting it in your cocktail though unless you like the taste of burning. Handle with gloves.
9. Hair Gel: A tin of hair gel. Use it to keep that 'do looking good!
10. The Lizard and I: A small green lizard. Yes, it's alive.
11. Dancer's Belt: When you have Certain Dangling Anatomy, this will support you in all the right ways and places.
12. Theatre Script: A well-worn copy of a script titled “Starlight.” It has the name Maya Tendo written on it.
13. Harmonica: A silver harmonica.
14. Pregnant Loser Self-Pitying Pie (Flambe): A mincemeat pie with a rolled oats crust. It's...on fire?!
15. Yellow Wig: The hair as yellow as corn. It's a blonde wig of enormous length. How could anyone possibly have hair this long?
16. Don Juan Triumphant: The book and music to a show called "Don Juan Triumphant".
17. Hairspray: A tall can of hairspray. It can lock that style in for an entire performance!
18. iPhone 6S in Rice: It’s in a black case with pink polka dots— but that doesn’t seem like it was enough to protect it. It has a large crack down the screen, and won’t turn on. Also it’s in rice.
19. The Lizards of Oz: A terrarium for all your fuckin' lizards. It's decorated with an Emerald City theme!
20. Top Hat & Cane: A black top hat with a matching cane. You could probably perform a nice dance number with them.
21. Black Hat: A pointed black hat. It's really sharp - and you know what they say. Black is this year's pink!
22. Magical Mister Mistoffelees: A tuxedo cat plush. It's chest is bedazzled with small plastic gems. The tag around it's neck says "Magical Mister Mistoffelees".
23. Glo Tape: Glow in the dark tape. Makes it easy to hit those marks during a blackout!
